After a welcome briefing meeting with the tour guide, you will check in to your hotel in Yerevan. Rest and get ready for City Tour.

Time to explore the Armenian capital, a 2807-year-old and modern city, located in the shadow of the Mount Ararat, were history and modern life blend seamlessly. We’ll explore the iconic Cascade Complex, offering panoramic views of the city, followed by a visit to the elegant Opera House, a cultural landmark nestled in the heart of Yerevan. Stroll along vibrant North Avenue, lined with brand shops and cafés, before arriving at the city's centerpiece—Republic Square—famous for its stunning architecture and musical fountains. The tour also takes you through Yerevan’s beautiful parks, providing a peaceful escape and a chance to experience the city’s lively, yet serene atmosphere.

Not a single visit to Armenia is complete without visiting her majesty Lake Sevan - the highest freshwater mountain lake in Europe, and surrounded by the Lesser Caucasus Mountain range. Set 1900m above sea level, Sevan is the largest lake in the Caucasus, it's also one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world. Its colors and shades change with the weather and by its own mysterious processes, from a dazzling azure to dark blue and a thousand shades in between.

06:00 AM For the lovers of high sky, we offer in Sevan an amazing Paragliding adventure(Optional Activity At Extra Cost) as an optional activity at extra cost. A must do when visiting Armenia, with Armenia`s leading experts in tandem paragliding flights. The team of highly qualified and professional pilots will make sure to give you the experience of a lifetime.

*** Paragliding is offered as an optional activity at extra cost. Depending on weather conditions, Paragliding may be cancelled if the weather is not suitable for flying on that specific day of the tour. Please wear warm/thermal clothes and sunglasses/goggles for paragliding. If you wish to do paragliding, the transfer from Yerevan to Sevan will be very early – 05:00am.

In Tsaghkadzor there is a Chairlift with 5 stations. The armchaired ropeway of Tsaghkadzor is located on the eastern slope of Mount Teghenis 1966-2819 m above sea level. From the height of 2819 m, where the speedy chairlift will take you in 32 minutes, all of Armenia is visible at a glance, and if weather is clear, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat.

Lunch will be at Panorama Restaurant (self-paid). Nestled amidst the scenic mountains of Tsaghkadzor, Panorama Restaurant & Café offers a delightful dining experience with panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Here it is also possible to Zipline (Optional Activity at Extra Cost), Adventure enthusiasts can experience the thrill of Zip Line Tsaghkadzor. This exhilarating activity allows visitors to soar above the picturesque landscapes, offering stunning aerial views of the region. With zip lines reaching lengths of up to 700 meters and heights of 130 meters, it's a must-try for those seeking an adrenaline rush amidst nature's beauty.

Our next highlight is Dilijan, that is sometimes referred to as the forest kingdom of Armenia. In this cozy town, you can find vivid examples of traditional wooden house architecture. The mountains and gorges are covered with rich forests changing to alpine meadows and dotted with small farms, hiking tracks, lakes and rivers. The mountainous landscape is highly diverse, with different terrains, climates, soils and water resources. Many natural and man-made features enrich the national park: monasteries, lakes, archeological sites, forests, rivers and farmland create an endlessly-changing environment.

We will reach Lori province, where we are going to spend the overnight.

We start the day by visiting the Haghpat Monument - included in UNESCO World Heritage list. It represents the highest flowering of Armenian architecture of that era.  The functional role, location and stylistic characteristics were taken into consideration during the construction of the building that stands in perfect harmony with the picturesque landscape. 

Then we will have a guided tour in Mendz Er Cave, where you'll venture into a mysterious underground world filled with winding passages, striking rock formations, and ancient legends. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you'll discover the cave’s natural beauty and learn about its geological origins, cultural significance, and the stories that have made it a hidden gem in Armenia’s landscape.

After your exploration of the Mendz Er Cave, enjoy a delightful lunch (self-paid) at the on-site restaurant, which offers a unique dining experience within the cave's natural ambiance.  The cozy setting, combined with the cave's natural formations, provides a memorable backdrop for your meal. It's an ideal spot to relax and savor the flavors of the region after your cave adventure.

Another highlight of the day full of emotions and adventure – Rafting on river Debed. (Optional Activity at Extra Cost) Enjoy almost 90 minutes and 11km of rafting through the amazing landscapes and have that adventure thrill on the river Debed. The daring travelers can also choose to jump from the bridge or slide on the raft into the river for a wider spectrum of emotions. Your Rafting guide will take amazing pictures and videos and share them with you.

You can use your free time and go to Vernissage for souvenirs. Yerevan’s Flea Market is probably one of the best open-air markets in the world. It is called Vernissage (varnishing, from French) — a term used for a preview of an art exhibition. A visit to the market will make the day more beautiful. It offers various kinds of nice national souvenirs, jewelry and other traditional items. The Vernissage is the right place to get little taste of Armenia and a special spot to witness the fusion between national traditions and modern taste.

Another highlight is GUM Market, which is popularly known as the food museum thanks to the neat and organized display of the products.

Aside from the mouthwatering goods there (fresh & dried fruits, fruit leathers and the much-loved sweet ''sharots’', various spices and more), it is worth visiting the market to witness firsthand the famous Armenian generosity and hospitality as vendors offer you to taste their products.

Shopping at North Avenue – Northern Avenue is a vibrant pedestrian boulevard in the heart of Yerevan, renowned for its upscale shopping and lively atmosphere.
